Mike is currently the Manager of Communications and Broadcasting with the AHL's Rockford IceHogs, AAA affiliate of the Chicago Blackhawks. Mike joined the IceHogs in January of 2023 and immediately became one of the AHL's youngest voices. Along with serving as Rockford's play-by-play voice, he also produces written and video content for the team, manages the team's media coverage, and serves as an emcee for various IceHogs events.

Along with his full-time duties with the IceHogs, Mike also broadcasts local high school football in the Rockford area and fills in on BTN+ broadcasts in the Midwest.

Mike reached Rockford after a year-and-a-half long stint in the Atlanta area where he was the Director of Communications and Broadcasting with the Atlanta Gladiators in the ECHL. In his first season with the Gladiators, he was named as a finalist for the ECHL's Broadcaster of the Year award. While living in Atlanta, he also broadcast multiple sports for Emory University (NCAA III) and Gwinnett County College (NAIA) including basketball, volleyball, soccer, and softball.

Prior to his stint in Atlanta, Mike made his first foray into professional hockey with the ECHL's Florida Everblades as a Broadcast Assistant. Next to his hockey duties, he also called several sports with Florida Gulf Coast University (NCAA I), Florida Southwestern State University (JUCO), and the Fort Myers Mighty Mussels (Low-A Twins).

A proud graduate of Purdue University, Mike graduated in 2020 with a bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering. On top of his STEM education, he pursued broadcasting since his freshman year at Purdue and broadcast almost 100 sporting events on BTN+. While at Purdue, Mike started broadcasting hockey as a senior when he became the first to ever broadcast Purdue Club Hockey en route to a 14th place national ranking on the Sportscasters Talent Agency of America's 2020 collegiate rankings.
